A parent or guardian does not need to complete the questionnaire with you. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make or authorize the purchase and consent to the information needed for your Beacon.

A Beacon is a personalized Ontario university planning document that shows which programs fit you, what you need to apply, and what to do next.

A Beacon includes five programs. Each is selected against the priorities in your questionnaire and presented in a neutral order, without a hidden ranking, because the final choice belongs to you and your family.

Each breakdown brings together the program, current admission information, relevant courses and requirements, important decision factors, and source links available when your Beacon is prepared.

Yes. A few days after you receive your Beacon, BeaconEd will send you a separate scholarship document as a thank-you for using the service.

Select Get your Beacon, complete the secure Stripe checkout, and then fill out the Beacon questionnaire. No BeaconEd account is required.

The questionnaire has 12 questions and usually takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Your answers give BeaconEd the grades, courses, interests, priorities, constraints, and open questions needed to research a Beacon specifically for you.

Your personalized Beacon will be delivered by email within five calendar days after payment is confirmed and BeaconEd receives complete, usable questionnaire answers. If clarification is needed, the delivery period begins or continues once that information is received.

A Beacon costs $19 CAD as a one-time payment. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

Payment is completed through Stripe Checkout. After payment, Stripe sends you directly to the Beacon questionnaire.

No. Because each Beacon is personalized research prepared for one student, BeaconEd does not offer a general money-back or satisfaction guarantee. Any rights required by applicable law still apply.

No. OUAC fees, university-specific fees, and any other third-party costs are separate from the price of your Beacon.

BeaconEd researches official university, faculty, program, admission, and application sources. Your Beacon includes source links and the date context for when the information was prepared.

It is identified as something to confirm. BeaconEd does not replace an unknown with a guess or present changing information as settled.

No. Programs are presented in a neutral order. A Beacon gives you researched context for the decision, but it does not make the choice for you or your family.

No. BeaconEd provides planning guidance and source-backed research. Universities and scholarship providers make their own decisions, and requirements, dates, and offers can change.

No. BeaconEd is an independent educational planning service and does not represent a university, OUAC, or a scholarship provider.
